WEEKEND CHEF
Yup! You read right. I only do my cooking during weekends not onlybecause of the available time but also that's when friends come andhave a taste of what I've concocted for their taste buds. I never had anyformal lessons in cooking. I started with my interest when I was oldenough to read and saw a chapter in my Mom's cookbook where itsays---Cooking for Children.
I remembered the first thing I cooked then was a pot of chocolate.My Aunts were there and were surprised when I came out of the kitchenwith cups of hot smoking chocolate for them to drink. They gave meme positive praises which encouraged me to explore the world ofstoves and kitchens. Since then, I've been reading recipe books,did trials and errors until I learned to do things right with theproper techniques and sharp taste buds.
Believe it or not but I love to read recipe books before I go to sleep. If you're familiar with ways in the kitchen, including knowing the ingredients , spices and how they go together, you will already have a sort of an idea how a recipe will taste just by looking at the ingredients. Of course, that's no comparison to the real thing!
I would like to share the following recipes which I have cooked foryears and are my favorites. A word of warning though, some of themare loaded with calories. So if you are into diets stick with the vegetarian recipes. Have fun!!!RECIPES
