FETTUCINE WITH CRAB

This is so good, but careful with the calories...

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup diced celery
18 medium size ripe plum tomatoes, peeled and seeded
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup crab meat, flaked
1/2 cup crab fat
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 kilo fettucine
Saute garlic in oil until slightly brown. Add onions, cook until transparent.
Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, salt, pepper, butter, basil.
Stir the sauce well for 20 minutes. Add all remaning ingredients.
Set aside sauce.
Cook pasta al dente. Serve with marinara on top of pasta.
Accompany with lots of garlic bread.
