1 pound angel hair noodles2 1/2 cups fresh basil leaves6 tablespoons olive oil1/2 cup pine nuts (when not available, blanched almonds may be used)1/2 cup Parmesan cheese3/4 teaspoon salt3/4 teaspoon black pepper
Blend crushed up basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts, cheese, salt and pepper untilit becomes a thick sauce. Set aside. Cook angel hair pasta until al dente.Put pasta in warm serving dish. Spoon pesto sauce over pasta.Serve with garlic bread.
