IKAW AT ANG GABAY
It has been more than three years since Noel Resella joined Alice Girado as a co-host in her weekly radio program entitled Ikaw at ang Gabay (You and Your Guide). The program focuses on giving guidance pertinent to improving the qualities of one's life if the techniques shared in the program are applied. Topics bordering on spiritual values such as Connecting to our Guides, Cleansing Negative Energies, Releasing Stale Relationships are part of the main menu of the show.
Humor is also a vital ingredient to foster in our lives which is given attention to by one of the segments -Balitang Katakataka Pero Totoo (Strange But True News). Unusual worldwide incidents are brought to the fore injected with wit and humor to spice up the program.
Another interesting segment is the portion on Health Tips given by Joceline Bilasano, A Reiki Master/Teacher and Agriculturist. She focuses on local herbs and plants and their everyday uses to prevent and at the same time alleviate physical diseases. She synchronizes the featured herb, plant or fruit to the availability and season of produce for easy accessibility in case it is needed for a certain use. Her segment includes tips on the use, preparation and application these herbs and plants to further enhance their healing properties.
A portion that gives light in the show is Alice Girado's segment entitled Pagkaing Pangkaisipan (Food for Thought). She uses quotations from different sources and matches them with parables and short stories to emphasize a message to stir inspiration, enthusiasm and positivity in her listener's hearts.
